Not a bad idea actually. I don't like bans anymore than you do, but as far as bans go this will (probably)have negligible impact. Besides, it will get broad support from every environmental group in Canada... and people do not really care if they have incandescent or flourescent bulbs.
It's crazy.The market should decide.
It's not a bad idea at all... as long as all you care about is getting elected.
This is pure politics, but it's not like you can trust Saint Suzuki either..."First of all, let's stop listening to the goddamn economists. Twenty per cent of the economy will disappear.""It will cost more than World War I and World War II put together.""We'll go into a kind of depression we've never, ever had in all of history."
Yes! lets let individuals competing in a ruthless atmosphere for profit decide. You know I trust the judgment of an individual CEO, who's limited knowledge base is focused or capital gain, not sustainable development. I see the light! I totally agree with you guys. I shouldn't listen to environmentalists about the environment I should listen to politicians or oil company lobbyists! Or how about stupid uninformed people who do not understand themselves and drive Hummers!LoL
This is funny but also sad! Conservatives believe we have to go back to the stone age in order to protect the planet that gives us life! How many conservatives does it take to change a light bulb? Far too many my friend!
